Our approach

Passionate.

We believe strongly that every child needs the opportunity to feel successful in their academics and make and keep friends. Many children struggle with communication and literacy skills from the time they get started in elementary school and not all of those children will have the opportunity to get individual assistance to help them understand why and how they are struggling.

Experienced.

We have spent over 20 years working with students to make gains with their speech, language and literacy goals, supporting students, parents and teachers in a variety of ways. Examples include: Individual and group therapy inside and outside of classrooms, co-teaching in classrooms, parent coaching, teacher/parent workshops, collaboration with other professionals, phone consultations, telehealth appointments and home programs.

Collaborative.

We understand the value of involving parents and teachers in a student’s journey towards reaching their goals. Families and teachers play an important role in the child’s success. A team approach is a must in making a new skill a habit and practicing in a supportive environment. We love working with families and teachers and value the partnership we have with them.
